Come out and join us for our annual Camp Lakewood Fall event, a Dad/Child fundraising weekend campout. Spring 2016 campout will be at Camp Grady Spruce on Possum Kingdom Lake on Friday, Oct 28 to Sunday, Oct 30, 2016.
We will have access to all camp ground activities including archery, riflery, canoeing, barge rides to Hell's Gate to hike to the top and hiking up Johnson's Peak. Horseback riding will be available for an additional $15 per rider (paid at camp)
Saturday night we will have a professional fireworks show on the shoreline at dusk! The kids will get to countdown the start of the show!
All registered kids will receive a FREE Camp Lakewood T-Shirt at waiver turn in. (specify t-shirt size at registration)
The campout is open to all Lakewood boys and girls in grades K-5 and child will need to be accompanied by a Dad. We will assign cabins by gender and grade. If you missed out last year, sign up early this year. All cabins will be full of Lakewood kids and Dads. Last year sold out quick, so sign up early.
Profits from this camp out go directly back into Lakewood Elementary. This has become an annual Fall tradition and one of the main fundraiser events for FOL. We rely on your support for events like these to provide the educational programming, physical activities, and capital improvements that make the educational experience at Lakewood second to none.
